Strategy
COI supports public sector innovation through cross-sector collaboration, dialogue and sharing of knowledge and experience.
The Danish Central Government, Danish Regions, and Local Government Denmark agreed on a new strategy for the role and work of COI as a part of the economy agreement 2019. The area of innovation competencies in COI was expanded and now includes a focus on supporting innovation in public-private partnerships and the spreading of new technology.
COI will, as agreed upon, develop initiatives to:
✔ support the innovation focus in public sector collaboration with private actors.
✔ contribute to the spreading of well-proven technological solutions and new technologies.
