Pia Gjellerup

Among other things, Pia works with: Strategic work with innovation, management, public-private innovation, new technological solutions.
As director of CO-PI, Pia has the overall responsibility for all the center's activities and is a major participant in the outward-oriented business. She has worked with the development of the public sector from many angles – political, administrative, professional – and based on the interests of both the public and the private sector. Pia loves sharing knowledge and engaging others in collaborations to develop solutions so that employees can perform their best and the citizens receive the best services. She has trouble getting up in the morning, going to bed in the evening and being quiet in the meantime. Pia is raised in Copenhagen. Masters of laws from the University of Copenhagen 1985, Attorney 1990.


Majken Præstbro

Among other things, Majken works with: Spreading innovation, innovation management, digitization.
Majken is responsible for the work on spreading innovation and innovation leadership, including managing digitization. She has worked with innovation and digitization since 2002 in the private and public sector. Majken is born i Hjørring and grew up in Vejle. She is MA in Communications from the University of Roskilde 2002 and MA in Innovation Management from the Danish School of Education / Copenhagen Business School 2012. Majken lives out her musical dream through her children, but can come up with lyrics for every situation.


Ole Bech Lykkebo

Among other things, Ole works with: The Innovation Barometer, public-private innovation, innovative procurement, Copenhagen Manual.
Ole is responsible for CO-PI's work to promote innovative procurement, the Innovation Barometer and for Copenhagen Manual, where participants from 20 countries are creating a new international standard for innovation statistics. He has worked with innovation, analysis, project management and communication in municipalities, interest groups and the private sector. He is an enthusiastic supporter of putting together different experience backgrounds and skills to develop new solutions for the benefit of citizens and businesses. Ole has difficulty walking past cakes and old cars. MSc. from the University of Aarhus 2000, Diploma Education in Journalism 2009.


Lene Krogh Jeppesen

Among other things, Lene works with: Evaluation of innovation, the role of elected politicians in public sector innovation, innovation prices, 'public sector innovation broadly'.
Lene is responsible for the work on evaluating innovative initiatives and for CO-PI's innovation awards, and she maintains co-operation with Nordic national actors on public sector innovation. She has previously worked with innovation, knowledge sharing and social media in SKAT (the Danish Customs and Tax Administration) and in the City of Copenhagen. Lene believes that curiosity towards and involvement of multiple perspectives creates a better public sector. She is a great yoga enthusiast, which is kept in check by a penchant for high heels and red wine. MSc. (sociology) from the University of Copenhagen 2004 and a two-year education in systemic and narrative approaches to consulting.

Julie Munk

Among other things, Julie works with: Spreading of innovation, public-private innovation, new technological solutions, social investment.
Julie is managing and developing processes and initiatives that support interdisciplinary and multi sector partnerships in dealing with welfare challenges. She has innovation experience from the public sector (e.g. MindLab), private sector (e.g. CPH FinTech), Academia (e.g. Public-Private Platform) and the third sector (e.g. Social Innovation Exchange). The last couple of years, Julie has worked with Social Innovation internationally with a base in London for which reason you can catch her using a good amount of 'Danglish' at the office. She is passionate about developing the public sector by strengthening the positive effects of cross-sectoral collaboration by testing new ideas to solve complex challenges.


Niels Jakobsen

Among other things, Niels works with: National Innovation Internship, new technological solutions, the role of elected politicians in public sector innovation, social investment, Copenhagen Manual.
Niels is involved in activities surrounding the role of politicians in public sector innovation, is passionate about learning more about social investment as a way forward, handles requests for internships from public sector employees and has a keen eye for technological advances. For several years, he has worked with cross-sectoral innovation in the City of Copenhagen with specific collaborations across two administrations. Niels is a MA in Social Studies and Art History from the University of Aarhus. He tends to look for a solid foundation in the depths without being able to swim and over the years he has lost the ability to think without drawing at the same time.


Lotte Rømer Grove

Among other things, Lotte works with: The role of elected politicians in public sector innovation, public-private innovation, 'public sector innovation broadly'.
Lotte is responsible for CO-PI's work with elected representatives in public sector innovation and with partnerships in public sector innovation. She is often involved in CO-PI's efforts with strenghtening the innovation capacity in the publi sector. Lotte has previously worked with networking, policy development and citizen involvement in the Ministry of Social Affairs, in a private consultancy and as an entrepreneur. Her last workplace was in the Municipality of Holbæk, where Lotte among other things worked on strengthening the conditions for public sector innovation and collaboration. Lotte takes great pleasure in setting up a good field for others to play in, which may be a sports injury from many years as a semi-professional volleyball player. Lotte grew up on Jutland's heath and has a MSc in public administration from the University of Roskilde.


Marie Munch-Andersen

Among other things, Marie works with: The Innovation Barometer, analysis, new technological solutions, Copenhagen Manual.
Marie is working with the Innovation Barometer, analysis and evaluation. She has experience working with analysis, evaluation and public sector development in Copenhagen Municipality and in Esbjerg Municipality. Loves working with statistics and is allergic to poorly done surveys (that is to be considered an industrial injury). Born and raised north of Copenhagen. Marie bakes industrial sized cakes whenever she has an excuse to do so, and has been watching Formula 1 since the days when Ferrari won championships. MSc in sociology from the University of Copenhagen in 2016.


Julie Lund Christensen


Paul Sauer Carlsen

Among other things, Paul works with: Communication, media/press, web, social media.
Paul is Communications Manager, the writing force on CO-PI's publications as well as editor of the newsletter. His responsibilities include development of the website, newsletter and other of CO-PI's public profiles including CO-PI's efforts on social media. Paul has a journalism degree from the University of Southern Denmark and has a background as a freelancejournalist, where he among other publications has written for Jyllands-Posten, Kristeligt Dagblad and Fagbladet 3F. He is crazy about finding good stories about public innovation and sharing them with others. Originally from Southern Jutland and enthusiastic about communication, football and bad jokes.


Karin Anna Harvest
